In case this doesn't make it to Rick's blog
This is in reference to This blog. Since he moderates comments (similar to me), I just want to make sure he sees this.
Rick, not sure who you are, or if I've emailed you... there have been quiet a few. Just to clear up a few things, my name is 0verfiend, just like my domain... that is with a 0, not an O (I am not that fat!).
I can't take credit for the video, as Visionsaul (aka G'Sus) was the "cinematographer," I was just there and helped piece the 3 parter into 1. Since I have my own domain, I can put up anything I want without having to censor it (a-la YouTube).
Now to answer some of your questions:
- I have no clue why the video was pulled off of YouTube. My guess would be that they were contacted by the Joliet Police Dept. and didn't want the hastle.
- The police actually asked to see the video (and were provided with it) within a couple of days... it is a little bit of work trying to find people... but as the Detective said, "It's our job."
- Rory, the "star" of the video was originally charged with a few counts of assualt... One of these being a police officer. Later, I found out he was only charged with 4 counts of ag. assault for the people that were invalved. From last look, these charges were lessoned even more to 4 charges of battery. It is my understanding that more charges may be forthcoming. His hearing is a matter of public record, and happend Sept. 4, 2007.
- The article was good, and I emailed with the reporter. Good guy, was happy to get the facts straight. He also gave credit to G'Sus rather than me. I think his descriptions were fair.
Finally, no apologies are needed. It's a blog, so just a bunch of opinions.

2 Comments:
In regard to Will's video, I would advise that you remove it from your blog. While this is not, as far as I am aware, in violation of any laws, what is against the law is the libel/slander against the people in the video on the various sites that you and Will discuss it. I have sought representation, and have been told that the information they now have documented is enough to charge suit against both parties. If this video is not removed within 24 hours, we will begin proceedings to bring suit. You both use language that discriminates and defames parties involved. I can only hope that you have your own legal counsel or that you cease your activity in this case.
There is no "activity" on my part. In any case, if at any time your counsel chooses to contact me, and my counsel advises me that it is for the best, I'll go along with it. As far as I was told thus far, there is nothing wrong. As far as posting our opinions... well, last time I checked it's a free country.
Seeing how it is a free country, you get a say-so as well. Seeing how you want to be anonymous (rather than giving your name), I can't give too much merit to what you say.
